1John 2:14: “… I have written unto you, young men, because you are strong and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.” The youth of the church are arrows in the hand of the Lord Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit and have a big thirst for the Word of God. They meet during the week for spiritual activities and sports.
Psalms 8:2: “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants you have ordained strength, because of your enemies, that you may silence the enemy and the avenger.” We believe that our kids are the servants of the future and we pray that the Lord uses the teachers of Sunday school in their lives so that every child will be a blessing to his family.
Mathew 18:19: “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” The prayer team meet every Monday night to seek the face of the Lord and to pray for the church, Lebanon and the Arab world; we believe that nothing happens without prayer.
Proverbs 31:30: “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Ladies ministry is so effective in the church for the bible says that the wise woman build her house; therefore, we pray for wise women to be a blessing in their homes in Jesus name.
Mathew 25:36: “… I was sick, and ye visited me” Throughout the week, several groups go visit the church families especially those who newly came to the Lord Jesus. The purpose of these visits is to encourage their faith through fellowship and prayers.
Mathew 17:1-2: “Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.” Every year we spend an awesome time with the Lord in the conference, and we experience the glory of Jesus on the mountain, that transforms every member of the church into His likeness.
James 2:18: “But someone will say, ‘You have faith, and I have works.’ Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” Yes my beloved, we have to show our faith by our practical love that sacrifices. The mercy ministry includes distribution of foodstuffs to poor families.
John 4:40-42: “So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word. Then they said to the woman, ‘Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.’” Seminar is spending two days with Jesus. A small group of people go to a place in order to know Christ and come back to church freed from the chains of satan and filled with the Holy spirit.
Romans 10:15: “… how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things” Preaching the gospel is the greatest work that a disciple of Christ can do because it shows the unconditional love of Christ to people living without him. Jesus is the divine solution for the problem of humanity, which is sin. The evangelizing teams wander the streets and visit houses that welcome them for the purpose of preaching salvation from eternal suffering through receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior and obeying His Word.
Acts 2:42: “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine …” The early church was built on the apostles’ teachings and on Jesus Christ the cornerstone. As disciples of Christ ourselves, we hold meetings every Wednesday night to study the Word of God and to grow spiritually. This weekly bible study is followed by fellowship and free refreshments, come join us! 2Timothy 3:16
Galatians 6:8: “For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” The church library offers books, CDs and other spiritual items to help with the spiritual growth of every believer.
Mark 16:15: “And he said unto them go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Just like Jesus sent the disciples out into the world, church members are sent on mission trips inside and outside Lebanon throughout the year. We believe that everything we sow outside our church, we will reap inside.
